Pan-American Masters Games
Various times and locations

The largest international gathering in Cleveland's history will take place this week.

Cleveland is proud to host the 2024 Pan-American Masters Games (PAMG), a flagship event of the International Masters Games Association. The event will bring together more than 10,000 athletes and thousands of spectators from around the world for a multi-sport festival expected to be the largest international gathering in Cleveland’s history.

Welcome Celebration: 6:00pm-9pm. Date: July 13th, 2024. Location: Downtown at Mall C.

The Welcome Celebration will be the official start of the Games, when all of the athletes march on to Mall C with a big community welcome! After a short ceremony, the event turns into a festival with food trucks, vendor booths, and activities celebrating all that is Cleveland. From 5:15pm- 7pm there will be a High five tunnel. We are currently recruiting youth sports groups to represent Cleveland by high-fiving the athletes as they march into the celebration. We are hoping to recruit 120-160 kids for this purpose.

In addition,we are currently recruiting local ethnic representatives to hold national flags, representing each of the participating countries in the Pan-Am Games.

Also, we're seeking local athletes to participate in the Be Bold Be Loud Be Proud video campaign. Athletes can submit a short video explaining why sports are important to them and why they're excited for the Pan-American Masters Games. The link includes some question prompts to get the creative juices flowing. We'd LOVE for a few folks to submit videos to be shared on our social media channels. There will also be a community 5K on the final day of competition (7/21) to connect the community with those from outside the area. We'd welcome any promotion - Community engagement.

For any questions or for additional information about this event, please contact Destany Post at (614)-432-3493 or dpost@clevelandsports.org
